30 Book Tower

Students learned about a year-long reading assignment today.  We will refer to it as the 30 Book Tower.  It is a challenge to read 30 novels throughout the year.  During the year, there are 2-3 "check-ins" per quarter.  Students are required to turn in a Book Jacket for each book they read and complete a book project/report for 7 of the check-in dates.  Your child received a folder with all of the information today.  Please check with your child tonight and ask them about the project.  This assignment consists of both Homework and Project grades in Reading.  All of the information is also available on the TGW.
