30 Book Tower Challenge

It was brought to my attention that the book list corresponding to the 30 Book Tower Challenge was not very diversified.  The purpose of the challenge is to expose students to a variety of authors and books.  Please feel free to substitute an author or book.  We are not concerned about the specific authors, we are just hoping it gets our kids reading.  Below is short list of authors to provide a more diverse selection, but there are many more! You may also take a look at books that have won The Coretta Scott King Award or other award winning chapter books.
